Salary: £25,000-£29,500 per annum 
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Location: Portsmouth  

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity at Hythe Engineering for a Facilities and Training Administrator to join our vibrant and growing team. As we continue to expand within the engineering sector, this role will be key in supporting both Facilities and Training functions. Based in the historic Portsmouth Naval Base, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency during this exciting time of growth. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general administrative support to the Facilities and Training Functions. 
  • Manage office desk space occupancy. 
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, including managing the fleet of road transport vehicles, insurance, breakdowns, accidents, servicing, MOTs, LOLER inspections, road tax, fuel accounts and cards, handovers, vehicle tracking systems/software, PCNs, and speeding fines. 
  • Conduct visitor and contractor inductions. 
  • Maintain positive relationships with service providers. 
  • Organise and schedule internal and external training sessions, maintaining training records and certifications. 
  • Collaborate with HR and management to identify and address training needs. 
  • Ensure that training systems are kept up-to-date and accurate. 
  • Work in alignment with our culture and values.

Requirements: 

  • Please be aware that roles at Hythe Engineering require security clearance, and successful security clearance must be obtained for the role. 
  • Clean and valid driving licence.
